Finnish marine cable producer Helkama with factories in Finland and Shanghai has set up a representative office in Singapore. We want to increase our marketing activities and improve our service to customers in Asia says Sales Director Mr Krister Wideman. Helkama is specializing in the development and production of high quality, halogen-free marine cables for commercial vessels. The use of halogen-free materials improves the fire safety by not emitting any toxic fumes or corrosive acids in case of a fire. In the design of the cables emphazises is put on the weight and dimensions of the cables. The low weight and small diameter enables savings of time and money during installation.
