Optical Fibre Cables

Helkama has been making optical fibre cables for almost twenty years. The first commercial deliveries were made already in the middle of 1980´s.

We have delivered thousands of kilometres of optical fibre cables to all kinds of customers and to all kinds of installation environments. We feel that reliability and mechanical properties are the most important criteria when measuring cable quality.

The very demanding Nordic weather conditions have set our minimum quality standards.

Instrumentation Cables

Instru Cables for instrumentation, process control, sound reproduction, computer and alarm systems as well as paging systems. Particularly suitable for digital and low-level analog signal transfer. The cables provide effective protection against direct electromagnetic interference.

Fire-Resistant Cables

LifeCord Helkama has delivered fire-resistant shipboard cables for several years.Helkama has utilized its expertise by developing fire-resistant cables also for premises.

This new product group is known as Helkama LifeCord. The name of the product group illustrates very well the performance of the product. The purpose of the LifeCord cables is to save lives and protect property.
